Medical Oncologist
 Description:
M.D./D.O. medical oncologist to join group of five medical oncologists, three radiation oncologists, and a gynecologic oncologist. In addition to radiation and medical oncology, this center houses all support services (nutrition, psychological counseling, support groups, pastoral care, transportation) as well as active NCI clinical trials.  Status: Full Time

LPN/ Medical Asst. -Regulatory Specialist
 Description:
Under the supervision of the Research Manager, oversees and prepares regulatory documents of patient clinical trials. Submits all regulatory documents to sponsors, regulatory agencies & IRB. Coordinates communication with local IRB. Coordinates contact of patients with permission of investigator for re-consenting per study requirements. Assures regulatory guidelines are followed by all personnel involved in clinical trials.
 Qualifications:
Must be knowledgeable of State and Federal regulations for clinical and basic sciences research, as well as ICH guidelines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills required, as well as the ability to work tactfully and compassionately with terminally ill patients and their families and/or care givers. High School diploma or equivalent plus Practical Nurse License or Medical Assistant Certification in State of Michigan. CPR certification required. A 12th grade level test result from the SkillQuest [LS-1] Language Skills test required. Personal computer skills necessary, preferably with applicable software. At least 2 years of clinical research experience preferred.

RN / Nursing Manager
 Description:
Under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer, the Nursing Manager provides supervision for both medical oncology and radiation therapy nursing staff. Responsible for implementing quality patient care, clinical patient management, staff development, orientation and nursing administrative duties. Acts as part of WMCC’s executive team. Prepares staffing budget. Seeks peer input in problem solving, and identifies need for changes then develops a corrective action plans. Performs interviewing and hiring, prepares annual employee performance evaluations. Responsible for scheduling of all nursing staff to ensure appropriate coverage for departmental needs.
 Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and current Registered Nursing license in the State of Michigan required. BSN required, MSN highly desirable. A minimum of 10 years of experience working in oncology and 5 years of management is required. Oncology certification is required, chemotherapy certification is preferred. CPR Certification required.

RN / Nurse Coordinator
 Description:
Provides patient care for a specific patient population under the direction of the Nursing Manager. Effectively uses nursing process to develop and implement a nursing plan of care, serving as a liaison between other care providers. Accurately provides professional health assessment and health promotion for patients and their significant others. Develops and follows-up on referrals and is accountable for coordinating the care of the oncology patient throughout WMCC and with outside facilities, resources, and professionals. Responsible for quality telephone triage. Acts as a health resource and educator for patients and their significant others.
 Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and current Registered Nursing license in the State of Michigan required, BSN highly desirable. Experience working in oncology with certification in oncology and/or chemotherapy highly desirable. Oncology Certified Nurse or completion within two years of employment required. CPR Certification required. Ability to work with diverse population and personalities and ability to maintain patient confidentiality a must. Excellent equipment and surroundings. Work requires frequent standing, stooping, bending and stretching. Requires assisting patients of up to 300 pounds (pushing, pulling, and lifting/providing assistance to). Ability to lift up to 50 pounds at or above waist level.
