Cancer Resource Center
A Cancer Resource Center is located on the first, second and third floors of the Cancer Center. You’ll find pamphlets on cancer, cancer treatment options and other related topics. The Resource Centers are open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Social Worker
A social worker is available five days a week for your needs. Ask any staff member to contact them for you or call 373-7446.

Psychologist
A licensed psychologist with oncology experience is available Wednesday and Thursday afternoons. An appointment can be made by calling 373-7446. An appointment can be arranged for other days as needed. Appointments are a courtesy of the Center.

On-Site Pharmacy
We can fill your chemotherapy prescriptions right here at the Center to save you time.

Dietitian/Nutritionist
A dietitian/nutritionist is available by appointment. Call 373-0109 or 373-7488 for information.

Financial Counseling
Financial counselors are located on the second floor and the lower level. They are available to help with questions regarding insurance and billing. Contact 373-7488 and ask to speak with a counselor.

Personal Coach
A volunteer who has been a cancer patient or a caregiver for a patient is available to help you. Call 373-7434 for more information.

Patient-to-Patient
A rewarding program that helps bring new cancer patients together with survivors to discuss their cancer journeys, share personal stories, describe medical treatments and navigate the difficult world of cancer together. Transportation Assistance
A shuttle van is available to help you get to appointments and treatments at the Center. Call the American Cancer Society at 349-8719.

Lodging/Accommodations
The Center can arrange and provide overnight accommodations for patients and family members at the nearby Kalamazoo Radisson Plaza Hotel and the Hospital Hospitality House. There is no charge for WMCC patients using the Hospitality House.

Massage Therapy
Massage therapy is available five days a week--Monday through Friday--for patients and their caregivers from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Licensed massage therapists provide 15-minute chair massages for relaxation.

Short-term Counseling
The West Michigan Cancer Center offers short-term counseling (at NO CHARGE) for present or past patients, family members and caregivers. Counseling can be useful to cancer survivors during their treatment, and also months after treatment has ended when there are still fears and changes affecting one's life due to a cancer diagnosis.
