West Michigan Cancer Center (WMCC), a collaboration of Borgess Health and Bronson Healthcare Group, is pleased to welcome Muhammad Hameed, MD and Don J. Park, MD, PhD to its medical oncology/hematology team in Kalamazoo.

Dr. Hameed earned his medical degree from King Edward Medical University in Lahore, Pakistan. He completed his internship, residency and fellowship at the University of Toledo Medical Center in Toledo, OH. Most recently, Dr. Hameed served as Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Department of Hematology/Oncology at the University of Toledo. He is board certified in internal medicine and medical oncology and his clinical interests include genitourinary and gastrointestinal malignancies.

Dr. Park earned his medical degree from Chonnam University Medical School in Kwangju, Republic of Korea. He completed an internship and residency in internal medicine at the University of Missouri in Columbia and a fellowship in hematology/oncology at the Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in Nashville, TN. Dr. Park has practiced medicine for more than 23 years including 15 years in academic medicine at Vanderbilt. Most recently, he served on the hematology/medical oncology staff at Renown Medical Group in Reno, NV. Board certified in internal medicine, hematology and medical oncology, Dr. Park’s clinical interests include leukemia, lymphoma, and multiple myeloma as well as anemia, myelodysplastic syndrome and clotting disorders.
