Dr. Brandon Mancini is originally from Canton, MI, attending the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI for his undergraduate studies and Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, MI for medical school. He then completed his internship in internal medicine and residency in therapeutic radiology (radiation oncology) at Yale-New Haven Hospital / Yale School of Medicine in New Haven, CT, where he served as chief resident during his final year. Dr. Mancini formerly served as the chair of the Association of Residents in Radiation Oncology (ARRO) Executive Committee and was the resident representative on several American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO) committees. He has practiced at the West Michigan Cancer Center since 2018.

Currently, Dr. Mancini serves as a leader of the Bone Mets Working Group for the Michigan Radiation Oncology Quality Consortium (MROQC), chair of the Webinar Subcommittee of the American College of Radiation Oncology (ACRO) New Practitioner Committee, and as a member of ACRO’s Education Committee and ASTRO’s Guideline Subcommittee and Government Relations Council. Dr. Mancini has held faculty appointments with the University of Michigan Medical School and Michigan State University College of Human Medicine. He is currently a clinical assistant professor at Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine and has published several manuscripts in prestigious national and international journals, such as Journal of Clinical Oncology (JCO), International Journal of Radiation Oncology • Biology • Physics (IJROBP), Practical Radiation Oncology (PRO), and Radiotherapy & Oncology. His primary focuses are cancers involving the prostate/genitourinary tract, breast, and gastrointestinal systems.
