Paula Lockwood is a board certified advanced practice provider in the departments of surgical and gynecologic oncology at WMCC.
A native of Freeland, MI, Lockwood earned her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and her Master of Science in Medicine from Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo. Prior to joining the West Michigan Cancer Center, she served as a physician assistant in cardiothoracic surgery for 12 years. Lockwood has practiced medical oncology and surgical oncology at WMCC since 2017.
Lockwood also works in our gynecologic oncology department and is the GI cancer conference coordinator. She was inspired to pursue a career in oncology after having co-workers and family members battle the disease. She enjoys building relationships with patients and their families and being an integral part of their healthcare team.
