Hair loss (alopecia) is a common side effect of some forms of treatment.

Call your insurance company to verify if you have coverage for a wig due to chemotherapy or radiation therapy.  Some medical supply companies provide wig options that may be covered by insurance.

Below is a list of local wig providers. Wigs may be discounted with proper documentation from your oncologist.

Most providers prefer setting appointments; contact them directly to make an appointment.

For free wigs, contact The American Cancer Society at 1-800-227-2345 for a local wig bank in your community.

Donated wigs are professionally cleaned, styled, and provided at no cost for cancer survivors
