West Michigan Cancer Center Welcomes Radiation Oncologist Dr. Allison Hazy
KALAMAZOO, Mich. — West Michigan Cancer Center (WMCC) is pleased to welcome Allison Hazy, MD, a board-certified radiation oncologist, to its team of cancer specialists. A West Michigan native, Dr. Hazy brings advanced clinical training, a passion for patient-centered care, and a strong commitment to improving outcomes for patients facing cancer.
Dr. Hazy earned her undergraduate degree in neuroscience, with a minor in Spanish, from Michigan State University before receiving her medical degree from Central Michigan University College of Medicine. She completed her transitional year internship and radiation oncology residency at William Beaumont University Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan, where she served as chief radiation oncology resident.
During her residency, Dr. Hazy received the Excellence in Research Award from the Southeast Michigan Center for Medical Education in recognition of her dedication to research and academic excellence. She has authored and presented numerous peer-reviewed publications focused on breast, prostate, gynecologic, and head and neck cancers.

Dr. Hazy specializes in the treatment of breast, gastrointestinal, gynecologic, lung, and skin cancers. She is a member of the American Society for Radiation Oncology and the Society for Women in Radiation Oncology.
