Mazen Mislmani, MD

Mazen Mislmani is a board certified radiation oncologist and division chief of radiation oncology at WMCC.

Dr. Mislmani attended Wayne State University in Detroit, MI, where he graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in radiation therapy technology. He then completed medical school at the Wayne State University School of Medicine on a Board of Governors Merit Scholarship, with induction to the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. Following his internship, Dr. Mislmani completed his residency in radiation oncology at Case Western Reserve University/Seidman Cancer Center in Cleveland, OH, where he served as chief resident during his third year. He also received the Roentgen Resident/Fellow Research Award in his final year of residency and an HDR Brachytherapy Fellowship Award from the American Brachytherapy Society (ABS).

Dr. Mislmani participated in clinical and laboratory research in many areas, including breast, gynecological, genitourinary, and central nervous system cancers, among others. Through his research participation, Dr. Mislmani published several articles, posters, and oral presentations at national meetings such as the American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO) and the American Association of Physicists in Medicine (AAPM).

Dr. Mislmani is the Michigan Radiation Oncology Quality Consortium (MROQC) prostate working group disease site leader for WMCC. He is a clinical assistant professor at Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine. Dr. Mislmani has practiced at West Michigan Cancer Center since completing training in 2015. His primary focuses are gynecologic, prostate/genitourinary, and breast cancers.
