Dr. Fakhreddine Mohamad

Mohamad Fakhreddine, MD

Mohamad Fakhreddine is a board certified radiation oncologist at WMCC.

Dr. Fakhreddine joined WMCC in January 2023. He came to Kalamazoo from San Antonio, TX, where he treated patients as an assistant professor of radiation oncology at UT Health San Antonio MD Anderson Cancer Center.  During his four-year tenure in Texas, he also served as assistant residency program director.

Dr. Fakhreddine graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in mechanical engineering with high honors and completed his medical school training at Baylor College of Medicine in the Texas Medical Center in Houston.  He completed his radiation oncology training at UT Health San Antonio.

Dr. Fakhreddine is board certified in radiation oncology and treats all disease sites. He strongly believes in shared decision-making—to listen carefully to his patients in order to understand their goals and values. This helps patients make the best possible decision about their unique cancer treatment.
