COVID-19 UPDATE – MARCH 23, 2020

Beginning Monday, March 23, 2020, all patients and WMCC medical personnel will have their forehead (temporal artery) temperature taken when they arrive at the center as a precautionary measure. In addition, the State of Michigan has imposed temporary restrictions on entry into health care facilities. ONLY PATIENTS AND WMCC MEDICAL PERSONNEL ARE ALLOWED IN THE CENTER to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.

WMCC patients: Please do not come to the cancer center unless you have a scheduled appointment. If you have an appointment and are having any coronavirus symptoms, or exposure (fever of 100.4 or higher, unexpected cough, shortness of breath, travel to a level 3 area, or contact with someone testing positive of COVID-19) please call your provider ahead of your appointment to discuss next steps.
