‘Kyle Jennings and Friends – Nashville Storytellers’ Set for December 9
Nashville-based singer/songwriter Kyle Jennings is returning to his hometown of Kalamazoo, joined by a trio of talented country music songwriters to perform a one-of-a-kind live acoustic show. All proceeds benefit West Michigan Cancer Center.
Kyle Jennings and Friends – Nashville Storytellers, returns to the historic Kalamazoo State Theatre on Friday, December 9th. News anchor Dana Perino will host the event, featuring three songwriters who have penned smash #1 hits for artists like Kenny Chesney, Aaron Lewis, Keith Urban, Uncle Kracker, Trace Adkins, Garth Brooks, Darius Rucker, Dierks Bentley, Blake Shelton, and Montgomery Gentry, among others. Jennings said the evening will focus on the writers’ side of the country music; and writers will take turns sharing the stories behind the songs and then perform original versions of their hits in an engaging intimate acoustic setting.
“It’s a unique experience. It’s more of a variety show really. A little bit of comedy, and little bit of music, some wild stories, and 100% entertainment! Shows like these are going on in dozens of locations every night in Nashville,” Jennings added. “It’s one of the most defining experiences of Music City.”
Tickets may be purchased online at the Kalamazoo State Theatre website, at ticketmaster.com or by phone at 1-800-745-3000. Tickets are also available in person at the Kalamazoo State Theatre box office.

Patients Enjoy Free, Locally-Grown Produce
It’s a wrap! Our program to provide weekly, locally-grown organic produce to cancer patients ended earlier this month. We partnered with the Long Valley Farm Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program for four months and recipients were extremely pleased with the variety of produce and recipe suggestions. According to the American Institute for Cancer Research (AICR), fruit and vegetable intake can decrease your risk of cancer development and recurrence. This program is made possible through generous donations to WMCC’s Patient Care Services & Survivorship Program.
