WMCC WELCOMES HOLLY YETTAW LUTS, MD, TO GYNECOLOGIC SURGERY TEAM
We are pleased to announce that Dr. Holly Yettaw Luts has joined the gynecologic surgery team at West Michigan Cancer Center Radiation & Surgical Specialties. Dr. Yettaw Luts, a Battle Creek native, is a board certified, fellowship-trained gynecologist with a focus practice designation in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery (MIGS).
Dr. Yettaw Luts earned her medical degree from Wayne State University in Detroit where she remained for her residency in obstetrics and gynecology through Detroit Medical Center. Upon completion of her residency, Dr. Yettaw Luts headed east to New York for a fellowship in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx. She practiced at Montefiore for 12 years and was the center’s Director of Outpatient Gynecologic Services prior to returning to West Michigan.
Dr. Yettaw Luts is excited to bring her MIGS skills to WMCC and the Western Michigan University Homer Stryker MD School of Medicine as the obstetrics and gynecology residency associate program director. She specializes in laparoscopic, hysteroscopic and vaginal surgery for complex benign gynecologic conditions including fibroids, adenomyosis, ovarian cysts, endometrial polyps and endometriosis. Dr. Yettaw Luts also focuses on perioperative education and optimization to provide the best possible care for her patients.
